LIL WAYNE ENGAGED

According to TMZ, Weezy popped the question on the night of Valentine’s Day at the Barton G Restaurant in Miami. There, Wayne reportedly slipped Dhea a “giant yellow rock” hidden inside a fancy $43 dessert, called the “Sabrina Sundae.” After the proposal, sources at the restaurant claim that he jumped up and shouted , “SHE SAID YES!”
The news comes after the YMCMB superstar took to his Twitter account (@LilTunechi) earlier today and after initially tweeting “She said yes” tweet— which prompted congratulatory messages/retweets from YMCMB family Mack Maine, Mystikal, Birdman, and more—later tweeted, “Ohhhhhhh now I see why! I meant ‘she said yes’ to being my valentine!!! Hahahahahahaha! Y’all krazy!”
Despite the retraction, a source close to the YMCMB camp confirmed with XXLMag.com that the engagement did take place and that Dhea is now Weezy’s fiancĂ©.
Despite this clarification, other rumors surrounding Weezy persist. Gossip news website Media Take Out reports Dhea being pregnant as well. ”We told y’all a few months back that Lil Wayne had gotten into an “unofficial” marriage with his new GF, an Italian cocktail waitress named DHEA. Well MediaTakeOut.com just CONFIRMED that DHEA is pregnant . . . and that Weezy is making his UNOFFICIAL marriage . . . an OFFICIAL ONE!!,” the gossip news website reported. “According to a ROCK SOLID Young Money insider, Weezy asked Dhea to marry him, and they scheduled a REAL WEDDING (legal and all) for this Spring.”

Suge Knight arrested in vegas yesterday
Unable to make headlines for anything but his law breaking, TMZ reports former music executive Suge Knight was arrested in Las Vegas yesterday (February 8th).
After making a questionable lane change in his black Bentley, cops pulled Knight only to find several warrants hanging over him from other traffic violations. Not only was Suge already on probation for driving on a suspended license, but small amounts of marijuana were found in his possession by the cops.
Within the past year Suge has received immeasurable scrutiny from the media after rumors were fired off that he was secretly involved in Tupac Shakur's death.
Suge is currently on 3-years of unsupervised probation for driving on a suspended license.
Rick Ross the rapper meets freeway ricky ross the kingpin

The ongoing legal battle of copyright infringement between Maybach Music founder Rick Ross and former drug kingpin Freeway Ricky Ross has reached a new height.
Back in 2010, Freeway Ricky filed a $10 million dollar lawsuit against Rick Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, because he was making a profit off of his name illegally. SOHH reports that the two met face to face in Miami last week and it wasn't too friendly.
Freeway Ricky stated, "[He] treated me as if I had done something to him," Ross said. "When he first came to me, he didn't know what position I was going to take, if I was going to send a word out to those young cats out in L.A. or not. That put a little fear in his heart. But now that he knows I'm not carrying it like that, he's a little more courageous right now."
At least it was only dirty looks that were exchanged rather than fists.

Just as Eminem prepares to celebrate the one-year anniversary of his groundbreaking “Born of Fire” commercial for Chrysler, the rapper is being sued for $9 million, in a hand written lawsuit that was filed last week.
Stephen Lee Pieck, of Ossining in Westchester New York, filed the lawsuit on January 12, in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.
Pieck, who listed his address as “homeless” in the lawsuit, claims that he was in a Legal Seafood restaurant in White Plains New York, on September 9, 2010.
The lawsuit claims he was in the restaurant with Jordon Bratman and Christina Aguilera, when the pop singer called Eminem.
The lawsuit claims that Christina Aguilera handed Pieck the phone and that he then gave Eminem the idea for the “Born of Fire” commercial.
“I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million,” Pieck’s handwritten lawsuit states. “I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did.”
Two numbers were listed for Pieck in the lawsuit.
One number went to his mother’s house and the other went to a cell phone.
When contacted, his mother refused to provide any details about the lawsuit.
A another woman answered the cell phone and when asked for more details, she hung up.
The “Born of Fire,” commercial debuted during the 2011 Super Bowl and promoted the new 2011 Chrysler 200 Sedan.
The award-winning, two-minute commercial featured Eminem and his song “Lose Yourself.”
Flava flav gives congrats to New york Giants coach

A picture says a thousand words and sometimes those words are "yeahhhh boyyyy!"
Just ask Flavor Flav. The life-long New Yorker was photographed hugging and congratulating New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin right after their Super Bowl win against the New England Patriots.
The G-men took home the football championship in a 21-17 victory over the Pats.
We're not sure how Flav got onto the field, but chalk this up as a random win for hip-hop.
Congrats to the New York Giants!

Even the Queen Bee can't play with Uncle Sam. It has been reported that rapstress Lil Kim owes the government over $1 million dollars in back taxes.
TMZ claims Kimmy Blanco owes money for ever year from 2002-2009 with this year's dues bring her total to $1,026,862.42.
A rep for Kim responded to TMZ with an email statement stating that Kimmy "hired professional attorneys to handle this matter" and that "she, along with her team of legal experts, are working cooperatively and diligently with the IRS and federal authorities to amicably resolve the situation."
Mo' money, mo' problems.
Rick Ross Gives the Truth on Pill Not Being on Maybach Music
By Vibe | February 6th, 2012
MMG and Pill fans can finally put the confusion to bed once and for all. Even after Pill opened up on his absence from Maybach Music, the hip-hop world remained curious about Rozay's real feelings toward the ATL rappper.
"Pill's situation was a special situation because he was already signed to Warner before I did my label deal at Warner. So when I did do my deal, it was a business opportunity that was presented where Pill could run with the team for a year," Ross confirmed to MTV News.
"I took that opportunity. That year ran its course and it was pretty much up to Warner what decisions they wanted to make with Pill as an artist after that point. I think they made it."
Pill was featured on a number of Self Made Vol. 1 tracks but was left out out of promo and tours that followed the clique's success in 2011.
"Certain things happen for certain people at certain times and none of us could really predict that," he explained. "I couldn't predict that Meek Mill would bring 'Ima Boss' to me or we couldn't predict that Wale would bring 'That Way,'" Ross says.
The MMG boss insists there's no bad blood between the crew and Pill.
"Hopefully, in the future he'll bring him a hit record, and get him some paper and do his thing," he said. "I wish him much success."
